New Hours

Art IN Hand Gallery is pleased to annouce our new hours. Starting in June we will be open on Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Our new hours will therefore be:

Sunday: 10:00am to 4:00pm (beginning June 3, 2012)
Monday to Saturday: 10:00am to 5:00pm
First Friday of the Month: 10:00am to 8:00pm

Carrie Wild recently illustrated the story "Branch Sunday" in the spring issue of Greenprints magazine and in January served as a juror for the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, a national competition for middle and high school students.

Joan Schneider produced the glass "Hochoy Award" given by Dance Kaleidoscope to Lilly Endowment Inc. to honor them for their contributions to the arts community.

Meet our New Artists

Danielle Bader - Danielle is an award winning color photographer who specializes in landscapes, particularly travel scenes. Her images have captured the beauty and mystery of the many places to which she has travelled.

James Hubbard - James creates limited edition etchings, linoleum block and giclee prints. A former public school teacher, he now teaches printmaking at the Indianapolis Art Center. His prints span a spectra of topics from nature to social commentary.

Cheryl Kaldahl - Cheryl is inspired by the natural beauty of Indiana which she captures within her acrylic and watercolor paintings. Her images range from landscapes and florals to abstracts.

Sherry Temby - Sherry was raised on a farm in the midwest and loves to paint her animal friends. Her life-like and at times whimsical depictions are created in oil paint.

Anna Velez - Anna loves color, texture, and pattern and she expresses this by creating amazing paper quilts with Japanese papers. Her work is exhibited nationally.

Steve Miller creates works of art out of wood. Boxes, bowls, candle holders, you name it.
