Brenda Kessler

I'm a mixed media artist who has just recently moved back home to Indiana where I'm renovating the family farmhouse and share studio space with my two cats, Basil and Batali.  For many years I was a freelance lettering artist and worked with both Twinrocker in Brookston and American Greetings in Cleveland.
In 2008 I took a PMC class on a whim, and fell in love with it.  Now, I primarily work with Precious Clay Metal.  PMC is a relatively new substance that is made up of finely ground particles of pure silver, and after being sculpted or formed, it is fired in a kiln and sinters into solid fine silver (.999).

My love affair with letters is not over though, as I'm in the process of getting my Chandler and Price Pilot Letterpress up and running.

When I'm not in the studio, you can find me outside chatting to the bees or chasing the raccoon out of the potting shed.
