Sally Phillips

Sally has always loved to work with her hands, constructing and creating.  About 10 years ago she discovered the art of wire wrapping jewelry.  She was intrigued by the many techniques that can be used in constructing a piece of jewelry and has decided you can do just about anything with wire.

The success of her current style of wire wrapping is using heavy gauge half round and patterned wire of 14kt gold filled and sterling silver to create bracelets, rings, earrings, pendants and pins. The materials she uses in her work have become her trademark of this technique of wire wrapping.

Sally's work has been accepted in major art fairs and festivals across the country. She enjoys the full time commitment to her art.  Along with creating her wire wrapped jewelry she teaches wire wrapping workshops and classes in enameling and glass fusing at the Indianapolis Art Center.
